About
Welcome to Cafe Wabi Sabi Everton, a charming food haven nestled in the vibrant Everton Park, Singapore. As a food reviewer for Foodjoyy, I'm excited to introduce you to this cozy spot that marries minimalist aesthetics with a diverse menu of Japanese comfort food.
Located at 3 Everton Park, #01-79, this café stands out for its unique industrial vibe, which some say mirrors a contemporary coffee shop more than a traditional Japanese eatery. With a capacity that caters best to groups of six or fewer, expect to immerse yourself in an inviting atmosphere that may require a bit of patience due to its popularity. But don't let that deter you; the experience is certainly worth the wait.
Notable dishes include the Pork Katsu Sando—with its crispy yet tender texture and rich sauce—highlighting that Cafe Wabi Sabi is well-versed in the art of comfort food. The Cheesy Beef Hambagu Steak Sando is another must-try, boasting a delicious medley of melted cheddar, caramelized onions, and a delectable combination of sauces that elevate the flavors to new heights. For noodle lovers, the Japanese Tom Yum Soba with Ebi Tempura presents a delightful twist, featuring al dente pasta paired with crispy ebi tempura and fresh vegetables in a zesty tom yum sauce.
But let’s not forget the sweet side of Cafe Wabi Sabi—where indulgence meets art. Each day, the café serves a Cake Of The Day, with options like the Butter Cake Walnut and the renowned Burnt Cheese Cake. These desserts are lauded for their rich flavors and are the perfect finale to a fulfilling meal.
Patrons have praised the café for its serene ambiance, making it a popular choice for Gen Z and Millennials alike. Many enjoy the efficient service, although some note that a warmer touch would elevate the overall experience. Whether you're stopping by for a rich cup of coffee or indulging in a dessert meal, you’ll find the staff attentive and helpful.
Customers rave about the unique drink offerings too; the Strawberry Matcha and Hojicha Latte have received high praise for their harmonious flavors, showcasing the innovative spirit that Cafe Wabi Sabi embodies.
Accessible via +65 6909 5431, the café also accepts CDC vouchers, adding another layer of appeal for those looking for quality without breaking the bank.
In summary, Cafe Wabi Sabi Everton is not just another café; it represents a unique culinary journey where comfort food is elevated to an art form. So, if you're looking for a hidden gem offering well-executed Japanese dishes accompanied by a serene atmosphere, make sure to visit this delightful spot—you won’t be disappointed!
“ Popular café. Looks more industrial than wabe sabe. Without a reservation , some had to wait for a seat. I think 6 pax probably the max group size for this place, otherwise the waiting might be very long. I liked the name of the sando - spicy, cheesy karage sando. Looked terrific but the taste was not as flavourful as I expected. Love the fries, they were perfect. The black coffee was great. Service was efficient but not the most friendly. Great hangout for Gen Z or Millennials. ”
“ A cozy spot with minimalist vibes and seriously comforting food. The chicken sando was perfectly crispy yet tender, and the pork katsu donburi hit all the right notes with its rich sauce and fresh sides. It gets busy quickly, but the calm atmosphere makes the wait worthwhile. A hidden gem for anyone craving simple, well-executed Japanese comfort food. Accepts CDC vouchers too. ”
“ It was a dessert meal, since they were only serving mostly coffee drink and cake. Many people flocked in, so at first there wasn't seats left, so we waited till the some of crowd left. But, their service was quite good when I requested for water from them, one of them helped me to pour the water. Even though it's just water Great place to have dessert ”
“ A cozy gem in Everton Park, Cafe Wabi Sabi is your go-to for delicious and affordable Japanese comfort food. The Pork Katsu Sando is a must-try, and their donburi bowls, like the Sukiyaki Don, are incredibly satisfying. With a minimalist, relaxing vibe and great prices, it's the perfect spot for a no-fuss, quality meal. A true delight! ”
“ CUTE space that really fits perfectly within Everton Park, like a cosy hobbity nest also they make the best Strawberry Matcha I've had so far.. the flavours Actually blend well together and for once makes sense as a uniformed drink
“ Hey idk what some of these reviews are on, but the food here is good. A small cosy neighbourhood cafe - we came here during Sat lunch (3 weeks ago) and it was full, but we barely waited before we got a seat. We ordered: • Spicy Tori Katsu Sando - bread is very nice, the wasabi mayo added some spice and flavour • Sukiyaki Don - a comforting all-rounded dish with rice, egg, and meat. I enjoyed this a lot • Valrhona Chocolate Mint - tastes just like minty chocolate milk haha but my bf loved it • Matcha latte - this imo was very average Prices of food items listed on Google is a little higher than dining there just fyi ”
